About the Artist
My work explores what it means to live in today’s society as a survivor of sexual violence as well as the obstacles we experience daily. My paintings celebrate femmes by highlighting their healing journey, and to fight the stigma that surrounds sexual violence and trauma, I tell mine and others’ stories of abuse and struggle with mental health. I use bright colors, florals, and figurative elements to show the strength and beauty of the feminine spirit in efforts tohelp others feel empowered.
